BELIEVER'S PRAYER
If you are ready, the following explains how you can receive Christ:
You can receive Christ right now by faith through prayer. Prayer is talking to God. God knows your heart and is not so concerned with your words as He is with the attitude of your heart. Perhaps there is not a Christian nearby who can pray with you, or perhaps you are a Christian who would like to lead a prayer with others who might be seeking to give their heart to God. Let me encourage you to consider a prayer like the following examples. Just use any one that expresses your sincere feelings:
"Lord Jesus, I need You. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be. Thank you, God. In Jesus's name I pray. Amen"
If one of these prayers, or one that expresses your acceptance of Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, placing your faith and trust in Him in your own words, express the desires of your heart, then you can pray right now and Christ will come into your life, as He promised.

I want you to change and direct my life. I want eternal life, and I believe you can do all of these things -- that you will do all of these things. In your name I ask, Amen" (For Jesus said as it is recorded in the Holy Bible, John 5:24, "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life." Each year a New Year is added to the calendar and reminds us of how many years ago the Lord our God came to live among us as Jesus Christ. The many written records of the life of Jesus -- including the Holy Bible -- help us to understand this wonderful gift.
In December each year, churches around the globe have Christmas season worship services that remind us of the anniversary of the birth of Jesus Christ. Many of these churches record the message by their leader and make them available for seeing and hearing on electronic devices including your mobile cell phone, tablet, laptop computer, desktop computer, MP3 player and every day it seems that even more options are available.
So if you do not have a church nearby, why not link up with one on-line? To do your own search, use traditional Internet search options. To narrow your search, why not visit some of the web sites of the churches on the ctc.tv maps for Richmond, Virginia and Rochester, New Youk? Look for the page on their web sites that presents the messages delivered during their Sunday worship services -- then set aside some time each week to revisit the one you find most relevant to your interests.
